Farmer Producer Organizations in Telangana

Varahamukhi State Federation was established on January 2, 2024, with the primary objective of enhancing farmers’ income by supporting and developing Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) in Telangana. Recognizing the crucial role of FPCs in empowering farmers, the federation has been working diligently to identify challenges faced by Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) at the field level and to implement strategies for overcoming these obstacles.

In line with its mission, the federation recently expanded its board by incorporating experienced professionals from various sectors of agribusiness. These new directors bring invaluable expertise that is instrumental in driving forward the implementation of targeted interventions for the betterment of FPOs across the state.
