MALWAM Federation

Madhya Pradesh

Overview

MALWAM Federation is a farmer-owned enterprise based in Chapda, Dewas district, Madhya Pradesh, working to strengthen small and marginal farmers through better market linkages, collective input procurement, and improved access to agri-services.

Incorporated in July 2021, it operates in agriculture and allied services with the objective of increasing member farmers’ incomes in a sustainable, organized manner.

Who we are

MALWAM Federation promoted to bring together farmers of the Chapda and surrounding regions into a single, professionally managed company.

Our purpose

The company focuses on aggregating farm produce, supplying quality agri‑inputs, and enabling farmer members to participate collectively in the value chain instead of selling individually at distressed prices.

By acting as a bridge between farmers, markets, financial institutions, and technical agencies, the Federation aims to improve price realization, reduce input costs, and promote climate‑resilient farming practices.

Coordinate input purchase, including seeds, fertilizers, and other essential inputs for farmer members.
Manage post‑harvest handling, aggregation, and facilitate direct market access for members’ produce.
Introduce better farming techniques, value‑addition opportunities, and linkages with buyers to help farmers move from subsistence to commercially viable agriculture.

Governance and membership

MALWAM Federation is governed by a Board of Directors drawn from the local farming community, including directors such as Narayan Yadav, Kamal Patidar, and Raghvendra Singh Patel, among others. As a member-driven institution, each farmer-member holds shares in the company and participates in key decisions, ensuring that benefits and profits flow back to the producers themselves.

Our vision

The company’s vision is to build a resilient, market-oriented farming ecosystem in the Malwa region where smallholders can access fair prices, timely services, and reliable markets through collective strength. By nurturing partnerships with government schemes, financial institutions, and agri-businesses, MALWAM Federation aspires to become a trusted rural enterprise that contributes to local employment, food security, and sustainable rural development.
